Marilla Bridges Trail, Bradford PA

A few weeks ago, on January 17th, I was down in Bradford Pennsylvania for work. Since I arrived there rather early, I decided to visit the Marilla Bridges Trail. It is a walking/hiking trail at a resevoir that is connected to the Allegheny National Forest. It had snowed the day before and on this day, the temperature was slowly starting to rise. I was able to get some really cool pics an I hope you enjoy them.

Pulling freight

As promised, I have returned from the road with some pics! These were taken on the grounds of the Quaker Square Inn at the University of Akron. The hotel used to be an old Quaker Oats silo in the early 1900's. After it closed, they converted it into a hotel. It is now used as housing residence for the university but with the first 2 floors serving as a hotel.

The one and ONLY mural I will ever do

As some of you may know, when we first had Tim J, I had created a mural for his room. The idea was based on the 311 song, Grassroots and the line from it that goes, "the roots that grow underground are as big as the tree, that you see, if not it will fall down".

The reason that it will be the only mural is that it took a lot out of me and when we moved, I had to paint over it, which hurt a lot. Then again, who knows, if I own a house of my own someday I might do another one.

Blasts from the past

As I recently promised, I have found a few pics of some of my artwork that I had on my old blog. Unfortunately I couldn't get the original copies of them (my old laptops have died horrible deaths). Luckily I posted them years ago and now you get to see them.
